MIldred Aquino Sabas' Obituary
Mildred Aquino Sabas passed away on July 19, 2015 in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. Mildred was born on February 8, 1935 to Anacleta Valdez and Simeon Peralta Aquino both who preceded her in death. She was married to Domingo Quevedo Sabas Sr. who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brothers Cornelio (Dlynn) Valdez, John Simeon Aquino, Frederick (Cary) Valdez, George “Bobby” Aquino, sisters Mercedes (Mercy) Cabatingan, Shirley (Warren) Alejado, Consuelo “Loretta” Delos Santos, Olivia Franco. She was predeceased by brothers, Benjamin “Amen” Aquino, Ricardo “Cardo” Aquino, George “Bobby” Aquino, Jose Caday, sisters Rebecca Enovijas, Mary Galla. She is also survived by her sons, Domingo Jr. (Delia), Artemio (Delane), Dedrick (Merlyn), daughters Elisa, Lorie (James Butler) and Myrna (Kimberley), 13 Grand Children and 6 Great Grand Children all of whom she adored and loved dearly.
During her time with us, Mildred enjoyed spending time at the bowling alley throwing strikes, fishing along the pali catching maninis and kupipis, crocheting, and growing her orchids and flowers in her yard. She loved to go holoholo, especially to shop and eat at Tasty Crust.
A wake service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Nakamura’s Mortuary, 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 31, at St. Anthony Church, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Family,
9:30 - 10:30 a.m. for the public, followed by mass and burial at the Gardens of Meditation, Waiale Road, Wailuku.
Casual or Aloha attire requested.
