Antoku, Milton Takami's Obituary
Milton Takami Antoku, Age 85, passed away at home on April 20, 2025.
He was born on May 22, 1939, in Lahaina and raised in Pu’ukoli’i, Maui. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, he later worked as a carpenter and woodworker. Milton loved being outside, tending to his yard with his dogs by his side. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughters.
Milton was a quiet force of love, strength, and steady support. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered for his unwavering strength and deep love for his family.
He was a proud dad and grandpa. His legacy of love and quiet courage will live on through his daughters and granddaughters.
He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Antoku, daughters Lauren Antoku (Luke Rider) and Kira Antoku (Sky Wilson) and granddaughters Aliya and Kaia Rider and Noa Antoku-Wilson, sisters, Marion Antoku, Amy Antoku, Susan Antoku, Grace (Myron) Kinoshita and June Seo, and brothers, Allan Antoku and Bernard Antoku.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Akira and Hanayo Antoku, and his brother, Dennis Antoku.
Service will be held at Nakamura Mortuary, May 14, 2025, Visitation at 2PM and Service at 2:30pm.
