Momoye Shimada's Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Momoye Shimada.
Momoye Shimada has passed peacefully on November 17, 2025 at Maui Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 18, 1927 and lived 98 beautiful years. She was born in Paia, Maui. She was 1 out of 6 children born to Hikoichi and Kikue Shimada. Momoye graduated from Baldwin HS in 1945 and continued to attend Woodbury College in California. She received her degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in 1949. She moved back to Maui to worked as a Manager at Finance Factors. She enjoyed vacationing in Japan to to learn about her family history. Momoye was active in supporting the community. She also enjoyed hanging out with her friends at Hala Makua and play Mahjong.
