Motoshi Tokunaga's Obituary
Motoshi Tokunaga, 94, of Kahului, passed away on May 15, 2016 at Hale Makua Kahului.
He was a WWII veteran, serving with Company I of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
He is predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Fukuye “Edna” Tokunaga. He is survived by his son, Mark (Ok Chun) Tokunaga; daughters, Carol (Alan) Arai & Teri-Lynn Tokunaga; grandchildren, Matthew Tokunaga & Traci Tokunaga (Aaron Finlinson); great-grandson, Kaden Finlinson. He also leaves behind three sisters, Tomiko Ito, Rose Kaji & Minnie (Al) Yuen.
Family services were held. In lieu of flowers or koden, please make a donation in his memory to the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center, Hospice Maui or Kahului Union Church.
