Myrna Acenas Segundo's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Myrna Acenas Segundo, age 70, who went home to Jesus on February 12, 2025. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. Myrna lived a life full of kindness, generosity, and was a dear friend to many. She loved Jesus with all her heart and attended King’s Cathedral with her family.
Myrna was born on January 6, 1955, in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur in the Philippines, to the late Nicanor & Silveria Acenas. She is survived by her brothers, Hector N. Acenas; William N. Acenas; and predeceased Romulo N. Acenas. Survived by her sisters, Ester A. Laureola; Gloria A. Arquelada; Rizalina A. Ablog; and predeceased Carmelita A. Ildefonzo.
She leaves behind her husband Nestor; son, Alex (Hazel); and grandchildren; Hailey-Jade and Gisele Arianna.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Nakamura Mortuary, 1218 Lower Main Street, Wailuku, HI. A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 9:00AM – 11:45AM at King’s Cathedral, 777 Maui Veterans Highway, Kahului, HI, with burial to follow at 12:30PM at Maui Memorial Park, 450 Waiale Road, Wailuku.
