Naida Rayo Luedeke's Obituary
Naida Rayo Luedeke, of Wailuku, born on December 27, 1968, in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, in her home in Maui Hawaii, at the age of 56.
Naida was the beloved daughter of Carlos and Isabel Rayo and grew up alongside her seven siblings: June Rayo(Grace), Carlito Rayo(Mary-Ann), Dante Rayo(Rebecca), Jessie Rayo(Rosalie), Lydia Rayo Tattsuke(John Tattsuke), Aida Rayo, and Zaida Rayo Tudo(Ricky).
She is survived by her husband of many years, Vance Luedeke; her children, Brandon Luedeke and Amber Luedeke (Austin Viloria); and her cherished grandchildren, Stiles (4) and Nixon (1), who were the light of her life.
Naida’s warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Known for her contagious laughter and generous spirit, she found immense joy in making others happy. Her favorite moments were spent playing with her grandchildren, cooking meals to share with loved ones, gardening, and enjoying card games or bingo with family. For over three decades, Naida worked at the Grand Wailea in Maui, where she brought smiles to countless faces with her dedication and positivity. Despite battling ovarian cancer since November 22, 2018, Naida faced her journey with courage and grace. Her strength and love will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
A service to honor Naida’s life will be held on February 14, 2025, from 5:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nakamura Mortuary in Maui. The service will be closed casket.
Naida’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May her legacy of love and laughter bring comfort to all who knew her.
