Nancy Kapueonuiokona Purdy, 92, of Kula, passed away on March 2, 2013 at Kula Hospital.
A night wake will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on March 12, 2013, with visitation at 6:00pm, and service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on March 13, 2013, 8:00am at Holy Ghost Church in Kula, with services at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park, 12:30pm.
Mrs. Purdy was born in Ulapalakua, HI on August 12, 1920. She provided private senior nursing care.
She is survived by her sons Daniel Purdy, Michael (Marcy) Purdy, Ned (Marilyn) Purdy, Ralph Purdy; daughter Mary (Wayne) Schmidt; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
