Natalie Chiyoko Fujimoto's Obituary
Natalie Chiyoko Fujimoto, 90 of Makawao passed away on June 09, 2016 at her home, under the care of her loving family. She was born on September 25, 1925 in Keahua, Maui to parents Kame and Kana Oshiro. Natalie was a caregiver for her parents and later worked as a Kitchen Assistant at Seabury Hall. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Natalie is predeceased by her husband, Moses Fujimoto; brothers, Jon Oshiro, Wallace Oshiro, and Edwin Oshiro; sisters, Irene Adaniya, and Evelyn Okata.
She is survived by her sister, Amy (Charles) Surridge; sons, Melvin (Darlene) Fujimoto and Tom Fujimoto; daughter, Cindy (Raymond) Ganiko; grandchildren, Bryden Fujimoto, Kellen Ganiko, Darin Fujimoto, Kelli Ganiko, Taren Fujimoto, Tomie Fujimoto, and Kody Ganiko; great-granddaughters, Kaylah Kimoto-Fujimoto and Peyton Fujimoto.
Natalie was a kind and loving sister, wife, mom, and grandmother, who will be deeply missed. Heartfelt thank you to the many people that provided care for Natalie including the staff at Maui Adult Day Care Center and Hospice Maui.
Services honoring Natalie will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm with a memorial service at 5:00pm. Natalie will be laid to rest at Maui Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
