NATSUE KAMETANI's Obituary
Natsue Kametani, 102, passed away at her home in Kula under Hospice Care. She was born on May 2, 1922, in Kula to her parents, Jutaro and Matsuno Yokoyama.
Natsue was a kind, generous and hardworking person. Throughout her life, she loved cooking and baking. Her delicious food was loved by all which she graciously and generously shared with her family and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Isao Kametani; her parents, Jutaro and Matsuno Yokoyama; her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Michael Ogasawara; her grandson Jason Kawahara; her brother Torao (Masayo) Yokoyama; sisters Sadako (Hiroshi) Matsui; Tamayo (Toshio) Yamada; and Jean (Noboru) Matsuura.
Natsue is survived by her son Ricky (Dorothy "Dot", deceased) Kametani; daughters Carol (Allan) Nagano; Joan (Harlan, deceased) Kawahara, Grace (Victor, deceased) Polido, and Avis (Joseph) Tumpap; grandchildren; Chad Nagano, Michelle (Robert Shimizu) Nagano, Troy (Sarah Kimura) Kawahara, Emmett (Kristin) Kawahara, Ian (Jennifer) Polido, Ty Ogasawara, Mari (Brandon) Stover, Corey (Kawehi) Yamashita, Deanne (Chris Hu) Odo, Grant Odo, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Hospice Maui. Also special thanks to Lori and Sabrina for all their help and loving support.
A private service was held.
