Nobuyo Takamatsu's Obituary
Mrs. Nobuyo Takamatsu, 96, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2015, with her loving family by her side.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. At her request, services were held privately.
She was born on January 1, 1919, in Lahaina to Rinsaku and Sugi Kobayashi.
Mrs. Takamatsu worked as a fish cleaner at the fish market. She was also a homemaker, caring for her husband and their four children. In her spare time, Nobuyo enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Mrs. Takamatsu was predeceased by her parents Rinsaku and Sugi Kobayashi; brothers, Fusayoshi Kobayashi, Kazuaki Kobayashi, and Yoshiharu Kobayashi. She is survived by her four children, Ann (Harry) Akagi, Susan Takamatsu, Robert (Avis) Takamatsu, and James (Karen) Takamatsu; five grandsons, Jason (Trisha) Akagi, Justin (Lisa) Akagi, Stuart Akagi, Matthew (Chelsea) Takamatsu, and Nicholas Takamatsu; two great-grandchildren, Maia Joy Akagi and Noah Akagi.
