Noriyasu Watanabe, 86, of Wailuku, died Aug. 16, 2015, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Visitation will be 9:30am, on Aug. 29, at Kahului Jodo Mission, with services at 10:30am.

Mr. Watanabe was born May 31, 1929, in Puunene, HI. He was a welder for Maui Land and Pineapple Company.
He is survived by his wife, Fumiko Helen Watanabe; son, Scott (Karen) Watanabe; daughters, Sharon Nomura, Lori (Denis) Cabacungan; sisters, Yoshiko Kawano, Jitsuko (Nathan) Hashimoto, Mary Frances Watanabe; grandchildren, Travis Nomura, Kelly (Chase) Honokaupu, Kaitlyn and Brandyn Watanabe, Darin Cabacungan, and great grandchildren, Eden and Blaze Honokaupu.
