Norman Katsumi Fushikoshi, 90, of Lahaina, passed away on May 19, 2017 at his home.
Services honoring Mr. Fushikoshi will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Lahaina Jodo Mission.
Mr. Fushikoshi was born on January 7, 1927 in Lahaina.
He was a heavy equipment operator with the Pioneer Mill and a fish cutter at Nagasako Supermarket.
He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Carol Hideko Fushikoshi; son, Lane Fushikoshi; brother, Noboru Fushikoshi; sister, Jean Lee. Mr. Fushikoshi leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Dean (Connie) Fushikoshi; daughter, Lori (Leslie) Rowzee; daughter in law, Nancy Fushikoshi; grandchildren, Carly (Gavin) Fushikoshi, Lisa (Keala) Keene and Kelci (Phil) Fushikoshi; six great grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence Fushikoshi and Lester Fushikoshi; sister, Aileen Yoshida; brother in law, Bobby Lee and Shigeru Honda and sister in law Sayoko Takashima
He enjoyed spearfishing and singing Japanese & Filipino karaoke.
