Odelon Alejo's Obituary
Odelon Alejo of Kahului passed away on December 30, 2024. Odelon was born and raised in the Philippines on December 11, 1965, at a young age he was a farmer, he worked tirelessly in the hot sun, then eventually migrated to Hawaii and worked for Maui Banyan and the Palms at Wailea. Odelon was caring, respectful, hard worker and a keen observer. His Hobbies and interest were going to church, he enjoys gardening and fishing.
As most of you know he choose a different approach on life before his death. Which viewed him a less than human, but although his behavior and mind was out of place, he still maintained a goodness of heart. He was still someone that could love, opposite of what others assumed him to be. He spoke politely and respectfully especially to children and minded nobodies’ business except for his own. He was never violent and nuisance to anybody unlike what people said about him. He lived daily like this as someone in the background, enjoying the presence of his family but not never included.
He is survived by his son Aron Alejo, his siblings Celestino Alejo ( Amelia Alejo ), Erna Ann Guiwa, Victoria Halunajan (Rogelio Halunajan), Adonis Alejo (Luz Alejo ), Jaime Alejo (Myrna Alejo ), Daniel Alejo (Mayline Alejo ), Angelina Alba (Edilberto Alba ), Gaudencio Alejo ( Evangeline Alejo ), Lydia Alejo sister in law & Mila Alejo ( former wife).
Please join us for a Night Wake / Vigil on January 31, 2025 @ St. Anthony Church Wailuku 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral Mass On February 01, 2025 @ St. Anthony Church Wailuku 9:00am– 12:00pm, then a 12:30pm burial follow at Maui Memorial Park (Garden of Meditation).
