Mr. Pascal "Pat" John DeBlasio's Obituary
Pascal “Pat” John DeBlasio, 94, of Kihei, Maui, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family, under the care of Hospice Maui.
A celebration of life honoring Mr. DeBlasio was held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Waipuilani Park, behind Maui Sunset, at 8:00am.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Pat was born on July 16, 1922 to Alexander & Rose DeBlasio, in Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. DeBlasio was an accomplished man; he proudly served in the Air Force, he worked for The Boeing Company as a Facility Engineer for 30 years, served as a Mayor in Des Moines, WA for three terms, was a Maui County Mediator, was member of the Citizens Patrol for many years, and was the president of AARP.
Mr. DeBlasio was a proud member of the Ala Lani United Methodist Church, and will be fondly remembered as a gentleman who was always willing to help others, willing to listen, kindhearted and good natured.
Mr. Pascal “Pat” DeBlasio leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 72 years, Ruby Lea DeBlasio; sons, Pascal James (Susan) DeBlasio, and John Alexander (Cassie) DeBlasio; daughter, Sandra Lea (Greg) Weisenstein; 5 grandchildren, and 11 loving great grandchildren.
