Patricinio R. Corpuz, 76, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2017, with her loving family by her side. Services honoring Ms. Corpuz will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Nakamura Mortuary. Visitation will begin Read Obituary
She was known to me as "Nana Pat". Growing up with her children, being in the same neighborhood, nana Pat would open her house with her smiling face, As I grew up, I worked at the same hotel but different department and yet when we see each other, her smile is contagious. Three months before she passed, I visited her at home after I was done at the clinic. I bought to her this filipino fruit called "Santol". She would call my mom asking for this fruit. I spent with her reminiscing memories of our life. Our bonding that day seems endless - not realizing that it was 10pm when I needed to go home. I would visit her once a week just to say "Hello" after church on Sunday. I am grateful to find time with her and this is a memory I will not forget nana Pat.
