Paul Shigeo Murakawa's Obituary
Paul Shigeo Murakawa, 69, of Kahului, died May 9, 2013.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Door of Faith Church in Wailuku, with a Service to follow at 5 p.m. Private burial services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Mr. Murakawa was born Nov. 8, 1943, in Pu’unene. He was the son of the late Shizuto and Yoshiko Murakawa of Pu’unene.
He was a retired electrician and electrical inspector from the state DAGS.
He is survived by his wife, Yukiko “Yuki”; two daughters, Karen (David) Hemans and Kim (Jason Mitnick) Murakawa; a sister, Patsy Y. Kawabata; and 2 grandchildren, Joshua P. Hemans and Lauren M. Mitnick.
Mr. Murakawa was a member of the Retirees IBEW 1186 Maui.
