Pearline Yukelin Ho Wilsey's Obituary
Pearline YukiLin Ho Wilsey of Wailuku, Maui transitioned from this life on April 26, 2022 surrounded by 'ohana. She was born on July 27, 1944 on O'ahu to the late Alfred Hoy Ho and the late Alice Kauanui Kekaiola 'Aina Ho.
She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Larinette Leina'ala Ho and her son Alexis Tracy Wilsey. She is survived by her former husband James Wilsey Sr., her children Alexander, Aaron (Shannon), Lorna (Ron), James Jr and Sabrina (Isaac), her 28 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 great grand furbabies and many nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Kaimuki, O'ahu and graduated from Kalani High School in 1962. After moving to Maui, she spent most of her life in Lahaina raising her family. She babysat many children, worked at Princess Nahi'ena'ena, Lahaina Intermediate and Lahainaluna Later in life she did a lot of volunteer work with the Lion's Club and Hospice Maui. She was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 125 W. Kamehameha Avenue, Kahului, HI 96732. The family will privately scatter her ashes.
