Richard Shinkichi Miyasato's Obituary
Richard Shinkichi Miyasato, 88, of Kahului, Maui passed away on October 11, 2021, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on January 5, 1933, in Puunene, Maui.
Richard graduated from Baldwin High School in 1951; served in the U.S. Army; and attended University of Hawaii at Manoa on Oahu. Richard was employed as a Branch Manager at Finance Factors until his retirement
in 1996. During his retirement he enjoyed traveling and watching his granddaughters grow up. He was also an avid UH sports fan.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Miyasato; son, Lance Miyasato; and daughter, Lynne (Lance) Hiromoto; granddaughters Kaitlyn Hiromoto and Kelby (Alex) Hoang; brother, Clarence (Jean) Miyasato; sister, Julia Kaneyama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
