Richard Wadsworth Sloan's Obituary
Richard was born In Hartford, CT, on May 15, 1944. After graduating from the School of Pharmacy at UConn, he joined the Army and achieved the rank of First Lieutenant. After working as a Pharmacist in Connecticut for 35 years, he moved with his wife, Cheryl Ann, to Maui in 2006, where his daughter Kimberly Ann was living. He resumed his career as a Pharmacist at Maui Clinic Pharmacy in Kahului, where he worked for 16 years.
Richard enjoyed camping, traveling, going out to eat, and living in paradise. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Pauline and Shirley. He is survived by Cheryl Ann, his wife of 54 years and who was by his side every moment until his passing, his only daughter, Kimberly Ann, son-in law John Harrisson, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Islands Hospice or Ala Lani United Methodist Church in Kahului. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
