Robert Egloff's Obituary
It is with quiet sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Egloff a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who died peacefully at his home in Kula on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the age of 75.
Born on November 4th, 1950 in Dubuque Iowa, he lived a full and meaningful life marked by resilience, independence, and deep care for those closest to him. He is survived by his son, Jason Egloff of Wailuku, and daughter, Ellecia Cook of Kula, and three grandchildren who will remember him for his steady presence, wisdom, and the many lessons he passed on through both words and example. He also leaves behind six siblings, Sandra Lee Busch (Glenn) 78, Barbara Jean Luke (Elliot) 77, Mary Rose Egloff 73, Joseph Robert Egloff (Rana) 71, Edward Harold Egloff (Sue) 70, Theresa Ann Baravilala (Inoke) 68 with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and enduring bonds.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his unique sense of humor, and the simple moments he cherished—whether in conversation, reflection, or time spent with loved ones.
A private remembrance will be held by family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
