Rest in love Bobby. In life we meet hundreds of people. But only a handful of these people will touch our hearts so deeply that they leave an everlasting mark. For us, you’re one of the handful of these people who has touch our hearts so deeply. You were truly a warm loving, generous man with a heart of gold. You always put your family and everyone first before yourself. I admired you for how much you really loved your daughter, Chasalynn, and your nieces and nephews. If more men were like you, we’d have a better world. I will never forget all of the fun times we shared all of those years with you, your Mom, Dad, sisters and brother and of course our cousins. Like that time when your cousins iko and his sisters, Terri and Stephie, and their band called you, your sister, Sandra and your Mom up on stage so you guys could sing “Ikona” at our cousin Tony Vierra-Albao’s 1st birthday luau in 1992 (literally chicken skin because all of you have beautiful voices). Ever since this day, every time I hear Ikona on the radio or someone singing Karaoke, I can see the three of you singing together. Just like every time I hear Sweet Lady of Waiahole and Mack the Knife on the radio (the songs you always sang when you, your cousin (my aunty) Jamie, my Uncle Gerard and I would go to sing Karaoke at my aunty and uncle’s place, because they did the Karaoke at the Fish Market in Waimanalo), I think of you. Also, all those times in 1988 when you and your girlfriend, Ronda, your cousin Jamie, my Uncle Gerard and I would go to watch your cousins Iko, terri and Stephie and their band play at Paniolo’s Restaurant in Kahalu’u on Sunday afternoons. They’d call you to come up to the stage to sing. Then, you’d call Ronda up to the stage to dance hula. It was so magical because of your beautiful voice and Ronda being an amazing hula dancer. From these times to you and I playing the brand new Sonic the Hedgehog video game on the Sega Genesis Console I gave to you for Christmas. You were so adamant about winning. Lol All of these fun times and the many times you would play pranks on me and then your brother would come over and it was a double tag team of pranks. I was so clueless I had no idea you guys were playing pranks on me until you guys would start laughing. lol. Thank you Bobby for sharing yourself, your beautiful voice and your smile with all of us. Our lives have been permanently changed forever. We will love and miss you forever.
