Robert Hundley Raymond Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Hundley Raymond Sr., 95, of Makawao, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Maui Hale on March 1, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Services honoring Mr. Raymond will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Kahului Union Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, with services beginning at 10:30am. Aloha attire please.

Robert was born on January 13, 1922 in Paia to George & Rebecca Raymond. Upon graduating from Maui High School in 1939, he went on to earn his AA degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. Mr. Raymond then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, first serving as an aviator, and retiring as a LCDR after over 23 years of service. He later retired from State Farm as an insurance agent. Robert was also a member of the Maui Country Club for over 50 years and a member of the Kahului Rotary Club.
Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 28 years, Margaret Raymond; sons, Robert H. (Carolyn) Jr., Michael G. (Marie), Christopher, Andrew & Jonathan (Marci) Raymond; daughter, Anne Raymond Burns; step-sons, John (Charlotte) Jr. & Gordon (Gina) Kim; and step-daughter, Margaret (Myles) Nakashima. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The Raymond family would like to extend a special Mahalo to Hospice Maui, Kahului Union Church and Pookela Church for their ongoing loving support and prayers for their beloved husband and father.
