Robert Edward Remington's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert Edward Remington on February 27, 2020 after a wonderful 68 years of life. He passed away peacefully in his Haiku home with loving family by his side.
A private funeral service for immediate family will be taking place on Oahu.
Nakamura Mortuary will be assisting in arrangements.
Robert was born on November 7, 1951 in Portland, Oregon to Edward and Carolyn Remington. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Joni Remington, his daughter, Kristin Remington, sister, Sue Ann Remington, and nephew, Andrew Remington.
Robert moved to Maui with his family from Oahu in 1998.
Robert loved to work on cars and made his hobby his career fixing Volkswagens. He was a devoted auto master technician and had a love for his craft, taking time to help teach those around him about their cars. He even participated as a member of the SCCA. On his free time if he wasn’t working on cars, you would see him at his happiest researching history, aviation, and how films were made. Robert had a love for Kailua and would find every reason to visit family and friends.
