Roderick Gonsalves Jr.'s Obituary
Roderick Joseph Gonsalves, 91, passed away on August 26, 2023. Roderick was born on July 7, 1932, in Salinas, California. He is survived by his wife Pacita Ibanez Gonsalves, along with her nephew Jeson Ibanez. Roderick retired from the Sheraton Resort & Spa from his manager position in food and beverage.
His two children, Mark and Debra have a combined total of 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Roderick Joseph Gonsalves has two children from a previous marriage. Mark, his son, and Debra, his daughter. Mark has two kids with Sandy, his wife, and his children Brandon and Danielle. Brandon married Jessica, and has two kids, Isla and Easton. Danielle married Mike, and has two kids together, Maverick and Ashton.
Debra, Roderick’s daughter, married Jim Hedani. They have three children, Damon, Joshua, and Eli. Damon married Natalie and they both have children. They are Shantelle, and Trey. Joshua married Serena and have Xes and Calvin. Eli married Lori and have Eva and Owen together.
Service for Roderick will be held at Nakamura Mortuary, September 27, 2023, at 5:00 pm for family viewing. A viewing for the public will be held after, at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Roderick’s last viewing will be held at St. Anthony, September 28, 2023, 9:00 am will be reserved for family members. The public viewing will be at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be held at 12:30 PM at Maui Memorial Park.
