Ronald Gilbert Chavez Jr.'s Obituary
On September 07, 2023, Ronald Gilbert Chavez, Jr.(Mondi) gained his angel wings. He was born on July 26, 1967 in Ogden, UT; the eldest son of the late Nancy Quintana Chavez and Ronnie Chavez.
He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1985 where he played Varsity Baseball (All Star Champion and a fastball pitcher!).
In 1989, he moved to Maui, HI and resided there for the next 34 years. During his residency on Maui, he worked for Guest Services at the Stouffer/Renaissance Beach Resort then advanced to a Top Sales Position at Maui Toyota where he was top 6 Sales Representative Worldwide (including Million Dollar Roundtable (MDR) Awards) during his 10+ years with the company.
He was a devoted Chicago Bears NFL and New York Yankees MLB fan.
Mondi was a fun-loving Son, Brother, Father and a friend who could always make you laugh.
His adventurous spirit changed the life of his closest family and friends greatly and for his bravery, we are all truly thankful.
He is survived by his father, Ronnie Chavez (Lorie), Maricopa,AZ; second Mom, Angela Dee Dee Martinez, Ogden,UT; his beautiful DAUGHTER: Aleecia Therese Victoria Chavez Fristedt (Darryl) and SON: Andrew Tomas Vito Ramo Chavez; BROTHERS: Ray Chavez, Honolulu, HI and Ryan Chavez (Tisha), Ogden, UT; SISTER: Rocquel (Kelli) Chavez, Kauai, HI; NIECES & NEPHEWS: Rezner, Seaena, Selestina, Sauntee Chavez, Ivory Grace Graham and Milo Salas; loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Preceded in Death by his mother, Nancy. Celebration of Life will be held in Maui, HI and Ogden, UT at a later date.
