Rory Addison Clark's Obituary
Rory Addison Clark, 63, of Kihei, Maui, found peace on October 29, 2015, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Private services will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
Rory was born on March 24, 1952 in Long Beach, California and was proud to be a seventh generation Los Angeleno. A lifelong baseball fan, the L.A. Dodgers were Rory’s favorite team.
In 2011, Rory and his family moved to Maui. He was the Master Commercial Account Manager for Valley Isle Motors, Ltd., and he established a close network of colleagues, vendors, clients, and friends. Everyone who knew Rory knows he was a straightforward person of high integrity. Most of all he had an exceptional ability to cope with the harshness of life by balancing it with wit and humor. If he were writing his own obituary, he would have said, “Well, what do you expect? No one ever makes it out alive.”
Though Rory enjoyed his line of work, nothing was more important to him than his family. He was a devoted husband and a dedicated father who was a strong advocate for his children.
Rory is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Lily Clark, as well as their daughter, Jolie Clark, and two children from his previous marriage, Jennifer DuBack and Addison Clark.
