Roselani (Honda) Nishida's Obituary
Roselani “Rose” Tsuyako (Honda) Nishida, 90 of Kahului, passed away on November 30, 2018 at Islands Hospice in Kahului. She was born on July 23, 1928 in Makawao.
Private services were held
She worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at Hale Makua in Wailuku and retired from the Maui Memorial Hospital.
She is pre-deceased by her Husband, Wallace Katsunori Nishida, Brothers; George, Bruce, Toshiaki, Richard and Edward Honda; Sisters; Evelyn Lee, Natalie Nouchi, Violet Takemoto, Aiko Panui and Jean Ferreira; Son-in-law Clyde Tamura.
Rose is survived by her Sons; Wayne (Linda), Wesley and Arlen (Marcy) Nishida. Daughters; Doreen Tamura, Iris (Charley) Ginoza, Sharlene (Robert) Sarmiento and Colette (Michael) Ladera. Brother-in-laws Harold (Dorothy) Nishida and Warren (Misa) Nishida. She also had 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Family would like to thank and acknowledge Islands Hospice Maui, Pastor Barbara Tengan, Faith in Jesus Church and Nakamura Mortuary for their compassionate care and prayers. We also want to thank Mom’s many friends and relatives who gave of their valuable time to visit with her before her passing.
Family is requesting that Donations may be sent to either Islands Hospice or Faith in Jesus Church.
