Roxane Leinaala Haia's Obituary
Roxane Leinaala Haia 67 of Kailua Oahu passed away at her home in Lahaina Maui on February 28, 2026. She was born on January 6, 1959 to William Keahi Haia, and Violet Koleka Keanu Haia. She lived on Oahu, Hawaii Island, and Maui, returning to Lahaina Maui where she spent her final years.
Roxane was known for her deep love of family, music, and the ocean. She found great joy singing and playing ukulele with her family and friends. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Roxane served faithfully in the worship ministries of every church community she belonged to, sharing her love of music and praise with every congregation she joined. Her gentle spirit and warm laughter remain a lasting melody in the hearts of those who love her.
She is survived by her siblings William Mahoe Haia, Karen Hokulani Haia (Gregory Scharsch), Gregory Jonah Haia, Calvin Polani Haia, Elizabeth Noelani Haia, Leona Kehaulani Haia (James Nahooikaika), Frances Uilani Haia (Junior Kauo), and Iwalani Christina Haia (Kealii Akina) along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family, including beloved in-laws who remained close to her throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life for Roxane will be held at Hanakaoo Beach Park on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Services officiated by Christ Embassy Maui will be held fro 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch.
