Saburo Sato's Obituary
Saburo Sato, 89 of Wailuku, peacefully passed away on April 17, 2011, at Kula Hospital.Visitation will be at 5pm Friday, April 29 at Nakamura Mortuary with the service to begin at 6pm. There will be an inurnment at Maui Memorial Park in Garden Of Meditation, Saturday, April 30 at 9am. The family requests casual attire. Mr. Sato was born on May 2, 1921 in Wailuku, Maui. He was the son of Shojibei and Yun (Suzuki) Sato of Wailuku. He was a mechanic at Haleakala Motors.He was predeceased by his wife, Satsuko "Edith" Sato. He is survived a son, Rodney and a daughter, Charlene, as well as two grandchildren, Taylor and Bailey Sato. Saburo was quite the character who loved to go to Las Vegas. His other passions were diving and fishing.
