Sally Satomi Enomoto's Obituary
Sally Satomi Enomoto, 90, of Kahului, died Feb. 19, 2016, at Hale Mahaolu Elua.
Visitation will start at 9 a.m. March 12, 2016, at Nakamura Mortuary, with a memorial service at 11 a.m. and reception at noon. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Enomoto was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Pa`ia, one of seven children of Shimaichi Tsukuda and Fude Omura.
She is survived by two sons, Edmund M.K. (Kekoa) Enomoto of Kula and Andrew Enomoto of Oahu; two daughters-in-law, Maria Enomoto and Laverne Enomoto, both of Wailuku; a sister, Michie Sera of Waikapu; a brother, Bert Takashi (Amy) Tsukuda of Mililani, Oahu; a sister-in-law, Mildred Tsukuda of Kilauea, Kauai; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edmund M.E. Enomoto; two sons, Wilfred Sonny Enomoto and Clement Enomoto; two sisters, Kiyome Boyd and Karen Satoki Kim, and two brothers, Kazuyuki Tsukuda and Roy Naoyoshi Tsukuda.
Mrs. Enomoto worked as a packing-line supervisor for Libby McNeill & Libby pineapple cannery in Ha`iku, and as bookkeeper for Narimatsu Inc. of Kula. She retired as the longtime owner/proprietor of the former Wailuku Florist. She enjoyed visiting her great-granddaughters, playing hanafuda and bingo, and traveling to Las Vegas.
