Sally Fusako Kawachi, 84, of Wailuku, died April 17, 2010, at home in Wailuku.Services will be held August 29, 2012.Sally was born February 9, 1928, in Paia, HI, and graduated from Maui High School in 1946.She retired from Maui Soda Works after working as an accountant there for many years. Sally was known for her energetic and hospitable ways. She supported Maui Humane Society and St John’s Episcopal Church in Kula.She follows her brothers Sakae and Rikkio; sisters Kuniko, Teruko, and Itsuko.She is survived by sister Beatrice Utako Faioli; nephew Alan Morishige (Margaret); niece Sally Tsuguchi (George); and great nieces and nephew Elizabeth Sheller (Neil), Traci Batiuchek (Dan) and Megan Oates (Ethan), Brian Kotowski.
