Sally Satsuki Ishikawa's Obituary
Sally Satsuki Ishikawa, 88, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2018 at Maui Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Services honoring Mrs. Ishikawa will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Saturday, April 28. Visitation will begin at 11:30am, with services beginning at 12:30pm.
Sally was born on May 20, 1929 in Paia to Tojuro & Matsu Shirokane. She was the second of five children. She was a barber, seamstress, and went on to become a dietary aide at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, drawing, lauhala weaving and was an incredible cook and baker. Mrs. Ishikawa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lincoln Ishikawa, and her sister, Lorrayne Otsu. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Faye Araki; son, Andrew (Denise) Ishikawa; granddaughter, Amanda Ishikawa; brother, Toshimi (Margaret) Shirokane; sisters, Toshiko Sugiki & Carol Yoshiyama, and many loving nieces and nephews.
