Samuel Kualoha Aki, 53 of Wailuku, Maui, born on September 21, 1970, passed away on January 17, 2024 at Hale Makua Wailuku under Hospice Care surrounded by family.
Sam was born on the island of Oahu. He grew up with 4 siblings on Oahu and 2 on Moloka’i.
Sam is survived by: Wife, Janice (Aheong) Aki; Daughters, Piilani (Anthony) Bick and Pumehana Aki, Sons, Konapiliahi Aki and Ka’ohu (Kawelu)Aki; brothers Lawrence Aki and Levi Aki Sr.; grandchildrens: Kaile’a Aki-Bick, Henohea Blando-Aki, Mauliola Blando-Aki, and Mo’ali Blando-Aki. Numerous hanai children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He is predeceased by father, Harry K. Aki; Mother, Henrietta H. (Hoopai) Aki; siblings, Hayley U. Faustino, Heidi U. Apollo, Harris K. Aki Sr. and Harry K. Aki 111.
Funeral service will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10am-1pm with a Luncheon to follow.
