Satoko Yamada's Obituary
Satoko Yamada, 93, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2016 at her home, under the care of Hospice Maui.
At her request, services were held privately. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Satoko was born on November 1, 1922 in Ulupalakua to Haruyoshi & Tomi Ishikawa.
She was predeceased by her husband of __ years, Hiroichi Yamada; brothers, Akiyoshi, Akira (Hilda), Tomoharu, Yoshishige & Kenji (Susan) Ishikawa; sisters, Molly (George) Saito, Polly (Morito) Otake, Matsuko & Tomiko Ishikawa; and brother-in-law, Roy Motoyama.
Satoko leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Irvin (Laura) Yamada; daughter, Evelyn (Wayne) Kajiwara; granddaughter, Tracie (Christopher) O’Keefe; grandson, Jeffrey Kajiwara; brothers, Kiyoshi (Pauline) & Tony (Ayako) Ishikawa; sister, Nancy Motoyama; and sister-in-law, Elaine Ishikawa.
