Mr. Semproso Rayala Uddipa's Obituary
Semproso Rayala Uddipa, 86, of Lahaina, died on Aug. 31, 2014, at his home in Lahaina. A night wake will be held at Maria Lanakila Church, on Sept. 19, with visitation at 6pm, and service at 7pm. Visitation will continue, Sept. 20, 9am, at Nakamura Mortuary, with service at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park, Gardens of Meditation, 12:30pm. Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. Mr. Uddipa was born on Nov. 7, 1927, in Puunene, HI. He was a tractor operator for Maui Land and Pineapple Co. He was predeceased by his daughter, Myrna Uddipa, and is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lucy Uddipa; sons, Marcial (Mary Jane) and Arthur (Genebele) Uddipa; daughters, Faye (James) Reyes, and Eva Uddipa; sister, Ovencida (Albino) Quebral; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
