Mrs. Sharon E. Walker 's Obituary
Sharon E. Walker, 73, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 2, 2015 at her home in Wailuku.
Mrs. Walker was born on March 17, 1942 to Frank and Beatrice Wescavage in Detroit, Michigan. Sharon held a variety of jobs throughout her life, but her favorite was working at Liberty House at the Hyatt in Lahaina, HI. She most enjoyed her daily interactions with guests and was known for her Aloha Spirit. You could always find Sharon in the middle of something... whether it was quilting, gardening, cooking, sewing or canning. Anything crafty became an instant interest of Sharon's, and she excelled in everything she made. From canning vegetables for the winter with her husband Harold, to sewing her love into clothing for her grandchildren, and nurturing her garden, Sharon always had a project on progress. Above all else, Sharon lived for her family. Her devotion to her husband of almost 52 years, Harold and the constant spoiling of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are what brought her the most joy throughout her later years.
Mrs. Walker was predeceased by her parents, Frank J. and Beatrice A. Walker; her sister, Beatrice Wescavage and her daughter, Kimberly LaForest.
Sharon leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 51 years, Harold J. Walker, daughter Kathleen Rydzewski, 6 treasured grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
