Shirley Ann Wong's Obituary
Shirley Ann Wong passed away on December 19, 2024 at her home under the care of Hospice Maui, with family at her side. She was born in Shenzhen, China and grew up in Keokea, Maui. She worked at Ah-Fooks Supermarket as a cashier and cook for over 20 years. She also enjoyed gardening and growing many beautiful Protea flowers at her Kula home.
She is survived by her daughter Deanne and husband Anthony Vargas, son Harvey Wong and wife Joy Lim. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Brittney Nakamura and Nicholas Wong.
She is also survived by her sister Cindy Ching.
Funeral services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku on January 24, 2025. Family viewing will be at 9:00 am. Followed by public viewing at 10:00 am with services to follow at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku for family only.
