Shizue Fujita Kadoyama's Obituary
Shizue “Suzie” Fujita Kadoyama, 100, of Wailuku died May 3, 2023, at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku. Visitation begins at 9:30 am Saturday, May 27,2023 at Iao United Church of Christ with service at 10:15. Please come as you are. No flowers or Koden, please. Instead, donations may be made to Iao United Church of Christ. Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Suzie was born June 21, 1922, in Wailuku. She was the daughter of Busuke and Moyo Fujita of Kahului and retired from First Hawaiian Bank after 40 years of unwavering and dedicated service. She is survived by a son, Matthew (Kiki), granddaughter Kirsten, great granddaughter Kaiya Shizue Jarmain, sister Myrtle Char, nephews Neil Watanabe and Wade Char and niece Wendy Char.
“Suzie” was a member of Iao United Church of Christ and also a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary for 30 years and served as treasurer for the Soroptomist International of Maui for 10 years. She was happiest socializing with friends and equally passionate with playing mah-jong.
