Simeon Ancheta Salvador's Obituary
Simeon Ancheta Salvador of Kihei, passed away under the care of Hospice Maui on March 7, 2025 at the age of 72. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on October 25, 1952. Simeon is survived by his wife Rebecca, daughters Sheryl and Melanie Salvador, and siblings Ramona (Romulo) Simeon, Alberto (Josephine) Salvador, Jaime (Ely) Salvador, Romualdo (Raquel) Salvador, Anthony (Analyn) Salvador, and Mila (Chris) Salvador Stillings. Simeon is predeceased by his parents Sergio and Juanita Salvador and sister Helen Higdon-Dela Cruz.
Simeon was a retired houseman from the Maui Marriott and the Four Seasons where he worked for 30+ years. He learned many skills from his years of working in the hospitality industry. He continued his passion for learning many practical skills during his retirement as he had many projects around his home. He especially loved spending time in his garden and shared the blessings of the harvest with his family, friends, and neighbors. Simeon’s kindness, generosity, and humble nature will be missed by those who knew and loved him. His family would like to thank the staff at Kaiser Permanente, Maui Memorial, and Hospice Maui for their compassionate care.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Nakamura Mortuary, Wailuku for viewing from 6pm-9pm then on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Christ the King Church, Kahului 9am-12pm, with burial at Maui Memorial Park at 12: 30pm.
