Stan and I were in basic training together many, many years ago. He was a good friend, and I have thought about him over the years. Was watching an Hawaiian lady singing 'Aloha Oe' and again thought about Stanley. I looked him up and sadly, found that he had passed away. As before Stan, we're just brothers from different mothers. Rest well my old friend.
My deepest condolences on the loss of our beloved Stan. He and I were friends for many years. I will miss him more than I can say. I was so lucky to spend the Thursday before he passed with him. Being with Stan was like having a warm hug. He was pure aloha. Kind, generous, selfless, humble, loving, clever, upbeat , pure Hawaiian…. That was our beloved Stan. 🥲
