Steven Ray Carnahan's Obituary
Steven Ray Carnahan, 59, of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, passed away October 30, 2014, on O’ahu. He was born the eldest of what would ultimately become a family of three children, on August 15, 1955, in Covina, California, to parents, Bill Ray Carnahan and Joan Louise Pierce Carnahan.
Steven attended California State University at Fullerton on a baseball scholarship. After graduation, he began his career as a plumbing contractor. Steven married Jocelyn Hidalgo Redona on November 24, 2004 on the island of O‘ahu. He lived in Newport Beach, California and later moved to Maui, where he settled in Lahaina, and began S.C.Plumbing. He was an open soul who respected all loving religions. He was proud to belong to the Lahaina Yacht Club, and honored to volunteer with the Light Bringers.
Steve reveled in the joy of the births of his precious daughters, Nicole and Stephanie, the marriage to his beautiful wife, Jocelyn, and the births of his miraculous little grandchildren, Koa and Kanoe.
Steve really enjoyed kayaking and golfing, but he was born to play baseball, and loved playing and watching it. He enjoyed all kinds of music. He didn’t need a favorite song; he liked them all.
Steven Carnahan is survived by his wife, Jocelyn Redona, his daughters, Nicole Nelson and Stephanie Carnahan, his two grandchildren, Koa and Kanoe; his father, Bill Carnahan, his mother, Joan Hilliard, and his brother, Scott Carnahan.
Scattering services for Steve will be Nov. 9, 2014, at 9:30am, at Canoe Beach, in Lahaina. Memorial services will follow the scattering of Steve’s cremains, at 10:30am, in the Lahaina Yacht Club.
Aloha 'oe, Steve...
