Steven James Goldrick's Obituary
Steven “Steve” James Goldrick, age 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15th in Hospice Maui Hale Wailuku surrounded by his loved ones. Loving husband to his wife of 34 years Eliza “Vina” Goldrick. He leaves behind his daughter Karen (Goldrick) Bonica and husband, Scott of Dedham, Massachusetts, and his son Jason Goldrick and wife Katie (Reidy) of Natick, Massachusetts, and grandchildren Kylie, Hailey, Samantha and Hudson. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on September 07, 1953. Loving son of the late Joan M. (Grenier) and Louis J. Goldrick,Sr. He was the loving and special brother to Maryann Uvanitte of Plymouth, MA, Francis of MA, Michael of Quincy, MA, Joan Gutowski of Plymouth, MA, Daniel of West Boylston, MA, Margaret (Meg) Kudla of Rockland, MA, and Faith Byrne of Pembroke, MA. Steven was predeceased by his brother Louis (Lou) Goldrick, Jr., and sisters, Kathleen (Kathy) Moody and Elizabeth (Beth) Young, who were at heaven’s gate for him. He also leaves behind brother-in-laws, sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Steve moved to Maui in 1987. He was a courtesy bus driver at Budget Rent a Car where he retired in 2019. During his spare time, he would get up at the crack of dawn to surf Launipoko Beach Park where he made lots of friends. He was the biggest fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed rooting for the hockey team, Boston Bruins. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 06, from 6-9 pm, service will start at 7:00 pm at the Nakamura Mortuary.
