Sumiye Horiuchi's Obituary
Sumiye Horiuchi, 84, of Paia, passed away on February 11, 2013, at Hale Makua Wailuku.
Visitation will be held at Paia Mantokuji Soto Zen Mission on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 2:00pm; with services at 3:00pm. Burial will follow at 4:15pm.
Mrs. Horiuchi was born in Makawao, HI on February 24, 1927. She, along with her husband, was owner/operator of Horiuchi Market, in Paia, for 45 years.
She is survived by her husband, of 54 years, Tadayuki "Tad" Horiuchi; brother, Hideo Sakurauchi; many loving nieces and nephews.
