Tadayuki Takamatsu, 90, of Wailuku, died on August 3, 2013 at his home, under the care of Hospice Maui.
Private services were held.
Mr. Takamatsu was born on June 26, 1923 on Maui. He was a manager with Fred L. Waldron.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Nobuyo Takamatsu; children, Ann (Harry) Akagi, Susan Takamatsu, Robert (Avis) Takamatsu, James (Karen) Takamatsu; grandchildren, Jason Akagi, Justin (Lisa) Akagi, Stuart Akagi, Matthew Takamatsu, Nicholas Takamatsu; great grand daughter, Maia-Joy Akagi, brothers, Mikio “Mike” (Myriam) Takamatsu, Hisashi “Richard” Takamatsu of VA; sister, Sachico “Peggy” Smith of CA. He was predeceased by his parents, Fusata and Shikano Takamatsu; brothers, Tsuyoshi “Paul” Takamatsu and Torao “William” Takamatsu; sisters, Fumie Gray, Midori “Middy” Baxter and Setsuko “Sue” Kaneshina.
