Takashi Hongo, 94, of Kahului, died April 22, 2013, at home with hospice care.
Private services were held.
Mr. Hongo was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Sprecklesville. He was a heavy equipment operator for HC&S.
He is survived by sons, Randy (Helen) Hongo, Jon (Marie Jean) Hongo; daughters, Doreen (Glenn) Kiyabu, Gale (John) Corley; brother ,Sadao (Mildred) Hongo.
