Tamio Yatsushiro's Obituary
Tamio Yatsushiro, 91, of Wailuku, passed away on March 7, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Services honoring Mr. Yatsushiro were held privately. Family requests no Koden.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Tamio was born on November 8, 1925 in Puunene to Sakukichi & Tsumuyo Yatsushiro. After graduating from Baldwin high school in 1942, he studied to become an electrician. In 1996, Tamio retired from the County of Maui as a supervising electrical inspector. Following his retirement, Tamio enjoyed going for long car rides around town and spending time with his treasured grandchildren.
Mr. Yatsushiro was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Jane Yatsushiro and their son, Clifton Yatsushiro. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Yvonne (Steven) Williams, Joyce (Alan) Takitani, Teri (Wally) Tom; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
