Mrs. Tatsue Sakamoto's Obituary
Tatsue “Pat” Sakamoto, 98 of Lahaina passed away peacefully at Maui Memorial Medical Center on June 23, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Services honoring Mrs. Sakamoto will be held on July 7, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Lahaina Ward. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, with services beginning at 10:30am. She will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Tatsue was born on January 5, 1918 to Yosaburo & Hisa Harimoto in Lahaina. Tatsue was a very intelligent and hard working woman, who not only cared for her family and home, but maintained several jobs throughout her life. Among them, she worked as a beautician, and an education assistant for the department of education.
Tatsue is predeceased by her beloved husband, Kazuyoshi Sakamoto, whom she was married to until his passing in 1989; son, Alan Sakamoto; and sister, Ruth Ansai.
Tatsue leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Judith Sakamoto; and nieces, Carol Mae Ansai Ball, and Linda Ansai Hastings.
