Theresa Lynn Garcia's Obituary
Theresa Lynn Garcia, 69, of Haiku, Maui passed away under the care of her loving family and Islands Hospice on January 13, 2018. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00am to 11:00am, with mass to begin over urn at 11:00am. Theresa will be laid to rest at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery at 11:00am on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Wailuku, Maui on March 18, 1948 to Joseph and Eleanor Rodrigues. She graduated from St. Anthony High School class of 1966, went to Maui Community College where she obtain an Associate Degree. She worked for the Sheraton Hotel in Reservations Department in 1968 and 1969 went to Maui Hilton as an Executive Sectary. Later Theresa worked for the Office of Veteran’s Services for 18years.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard V. Garcia; sons, Eric J. Garcia and Ryan J. Garcia; brothers, Anthony (Irene) Rodrigues and Clyde (Patty) Rodrigues; numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
