Thomas Tomoitsu Abe's Obituary
Thomas Tomoitsu Abe, 98, of Kahului, died on February 17, 2014 at Hale Makua Kahului.
Visitation will begin at 9am on Tue., March 4, 2014 at Nakamura Mortuary; with service at 10am. Burial service is 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nisei Veteran's Memorial Center.
Mr. Abe was born on Jan. 19, 1916 in Honolulu. He was a payroll clerk with HC&S.
He is survived by his son, Alan (Beverlee) Abe; daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Takatani, Sharon (James) Uno; brother, Shinsaku; sister, Nora; seven grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company G.
