Timothy S. Akina's Obituary
Timothy Akina, 66, of Makawao, passed away at his residence on September 9, 2018. He was born in Honolulu to parents, Francis and Mapuana (deceased) Akina.
Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen “Cookie” Akina; sons, Tony (Sherron) Akina and Timothy (Ravan) Akina Jr; daughter, Judee Mae (Samuel Jr.) Aki; father, Francis Akina; brothers, Thomas “Tommy” (Rene) Akina, Clyde Akina, Palani Akina; sister, Lynette Akina; grandchildren, Hanalei Akina, Kawehi Akina, Kawiki (Shayleen Harrison) Akina, Peighton Akina, Pasha Akina, Samuel “Kamuela” Aki; great grandchildren, Kawailani Akina and Kalena Dawn Akina. He is predeceased by his mother, Mapuana Akina; grandchildren, Aulii Suggs-Akina and Tony Akina Jr.
Services honoring Timothy will be held at St Joseph Church in Makawao on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 with visitation at 9:00am, mass will be celebrated at 11:00am followed by burial at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao at 1:00pm.
